Early Spring, Tuscany

Available through the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition 2023.

This is an original oil painting of the Tuscany countryside, which I painted on location a short walk south of Florence. I wanted to capture the feeling of the start of spring in Tuscany. The olive trees had just been pruned and there was the smell of wild garlic in the air as I was painting! I loved the colour harmony between the fresh greens in the foreground and the blues of the hills receding into the distance.

Additional information: Painted on Linen canvas board, using high quality michael harding oil paints, and finished with gamvar gloss varnish. Signed on the front, and titled, dated and a list of materials on the back.

Shipping: Free within the UK, £30 for the rest of the world. Paintings are shipped via express courier (UPS/Fedex or similar), securely packaged, and fully insured in case of any eventualities.
