This seascape painting was painted on location in the Mumbles, the Gower, Wales. This work was about capturing the soft light that often drifts over the sea near sunset during winter. I wanted to capture the iridescent qualities of the light on the waves and sea and the peaceful feeling of the waves gently breaking against the shore.
• This is an original oil painting on 3mm deep linen canvas board, size 24 x 30cm (approx 9.5 x 12 inches)
• Created with high quality professional grade michael harding oil paints, linen canvas board and finished with gamvar gloss varnish.
• Signed on the front.
